What a cruise... During this year's Zone Cruise to the Panama Canal and Southern Caribbean, I lost 2 lbs in one week – eating pizza, pasta and pastries, without hunger or tiredness. I'm now down 20 lbs... More importantly, I found that I can treat the symptoms of my incurable multiple sclerosis by decreasing my silent inflammation... Priceless!

 

The Zone Cruise changed my life

I cannot begin to explain how excited I am. I think going on the Zone Cruise is an experience that has, and will continue to, change my life. I was diagnosed in 2007 with multiple sclerosis. Although there are many treatments available, with awful side effects I must add, there is no known cure. My health, although not great, has been pretty status quo for several years until about 2 years ago. At that point, I started feeling much weaker, with increased fatigued, and just an all-around "unwellness."  So 201 was my year, I said, to find wellness.

 

A recipe for wellness

My friend had read and preached about the "Zone Diet" being the best way to regulate hunger and stop cravings.

I am definitely addicted to starches and sugar and have battled with obesity my entire life. My friend Diane and I agreed we should go on the Zone Cruise to learn more about how to eat in the 40-30-30 rule – which can be a little confusing at first. Little did we know the amount of support, information and help we would get from Dr. Sears, as well as the other travelers. I must admit, I didn't even think Dr. Sears would be on the cruise. I thought he would send some of his "people" to do the seminars, ya know, since he's rich and important and all.

 

I had my doubts, thinking: "oh, this really is just another diet that I'm going to try but really not be able to make it last." I had no idea the Zone is more than a diet, but a recipe for wellness, which is what I am looking for.

 

A unique experience

Not only was Dr. Sears the one who was speaking at the seminars, but he sat personally with each and every one of us and answered every last question we could possibly think of to ask him. I was blown away by the personal time and attention and information he shared with us, but even more so, by meeting him. Dr. Sears is an authentic, sincere, smart, caring, down to earth (and very funny) kind of guy; he's a healer. He has been given a gift from God and is doing what he can to share it with every person he can. I feel so much hope for my future.

 

The day we got home from the cruise, we ordered the Zone Cellular Inflammation blood test and OmegaRx and polyphenol supplements. I am looking forward to repeating the blood test as I am already seeing positive results. I am NOT hungry on this food plan and usually eat between 1000-1300 calories per day. I have lost about 20 lbs. in 2 months and even lost 2 lbs the week we were on the cruise. More importantly, I am decreasing the silent inflammation that I can't see or feel, but I know I have because of the tests.

 

I am thrilled, and want to thank Zone for all they do! I can't wait until next year's cruise and seeing everyone again. All my thanks and love!!!
